Love is in the air!

It's Valentines Day.  The day we are all supposed to show & tell people how much we love them.  In my house, we do this every day.  It is not merely by the words we express our love, but my our actions.  I know that I am loved because of the care and compassion my family gives to me.  I know that I am loved because of the patience, understanding, and wisdom that has been passed down to me.

If nothing else, my grandmother showed us love.  She instilled Jesus' love in each generation.  This was a part of her legacy.  No matter how good or bad things may turn out, we are covered by Jesus' blood and He is always in our corner.  Through Him she taught us humility, servanthood, compassion, emphathy, and respect.  This is the lesson I am passing on to my daughter.  That the ultimate gift of love and sacrifice was born one starry night in Bethlehem and rose one morning at Calvary.

If you think about it long enough, you see that the major color in Valentine's Day is red for a reason....  Just some food for thought.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Give Jesus.
