I cannot tell you what decisions you should make. I can only encourage you to seek God's help. You are beautiful, loved, and God's child. Regardless of your problem, give it to Jesus. He bore our sins and burdens on the cross so we would not have to now. When it feels like your load is too heavy, call on your Heavenly Father. He is the burden bearer and heavy load carrier.
The following is my interpretation of Proverbs 31: 10-31. Share this with other women and encourage them, as I have you.
"The Virtuous Woman"
by
Kelli Smith
Her status is not hard to attain. Her wisdom and beauty define the phenomenal woman. There is no price tag on her worth. Her value stretches farther than the eye can see. She works hard to take care of her husband, her children, and her household. She goes to bed late and rises early. She does not speak swords, but love. She does not do harm, but gives warm hugs. There is nothing she cannot do with God's help. She knows her role and respects it. She teaches her sons to be gentlemen and her daughter to be ladies. She raises the next generation to prosper. She is respected because she respects. She models the epitome of womanhood. She sings praises to her Lord because she knows that without God, she is nothing. She worships her Lord because she understands that without God, she would not be here. She rejoices in His glory and basks in His favor. She knows she is loved and she loves the more for it. She is not God, but a likeness in His image. She was created to serve God and God alone. She was designed to satisfy the needs of her husband and bear his children.
Her hands are never idol, for she does not work for the devil. Her tongue is bridled when unkind words choose to seep. She is confident in her speech, yet humble and meek. She gives beyond her house and is compassionate in her work. She opens her arms to the needy and her heart to the weary. Her faith does not waiver because her faith is strong. It has been tossed by the sea, thrown in the fire, and challenged by giants. Yet and still she has conquered every quest because her God supplies all her needs according to His riches and glory. Some of her battles have left scars, but to God be the glory. For with each scar is a lesson and a blessing. Hers sins have been forgiven and by His stripes she is healed.
She does not have to adorn herself with expensive clothes and jewelry because her inner beauty adds elegance to everything she wears. She takes care of herself, inside and out. The Word feeds her soul and the fruit of her labor feed her body. She does not worry because worry cannot do a thing for her. She is stronger than you know. Her help comes from the Lord and that strength is untouchable. She is blessed. She is loved. She is honored. She is praised. She surpasses all, yet is submissive in her ways. She does not boast or speak with pride because the Lord is her Sheppard.
Much is given to her because much has been required. As quick as her blessings came, they can be taken away. Therefore she takes nothing for granted. Instead she prays to the Most High for continuous favor, for forgiveness, for grace and mercy. She praises God for who He is and worships God for what He has done. She is you!
