I posted part 2 of this message before reading my daily scripture from Version: The Bible App. It is amazing how God works. The scripture further confirmed the message I shared with you all earlier.'
"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NKJV
God sacrificed His son's life for ours. Jesus' body was beaten and torn so that our sins would be forgiven. Why is it that we still continue to physically, mentally, and metaphorically beat and torture our bodies? If the ransom was so high, that only Jesus could pay the cost, why do we continue to sell our bodies to satisfy earthly desires? No amount of money can buy your soul. No one can purchase your spirit.
Don't sell yourself short. Command more respect for yourself. Use your talents and beauty to glorify God, not expose or exploit them to fit in with the world.
I'm not fussing, just keeping it real.
