I know it's been a long time since I've posted something. Life has been very busy. I was recently in a situation that prompted me to gather up my mustard seeds of faith and rely on Jesus to bridle my tongue.
I can not get into specifics of the event, but I can tell you that no good comes from rash thinking. It is always better to think of the consequences before they happen, so you can prevent a mistake. 'Back in the day' I used to let things and people get under my skin. It was my weakness. Slowly but surely I am working on this.
When under attack now, I call on my Higher Power to speak for me, to think for me, to react for me. I have learned to take a step back, examine the situation and determine if this is even worth my energy. Most of the time it isn't.
My point is that when God is in control of you, you do not have to say a word. Let your light shine so bright that not even the smallest of switches will turn you off. He said He would take care of us and fight our battles. So why are you still holding the sword? The only weapon you need is the Word of God.
Food for thought: If God is for you, who can be against you?
