First of all, I apologize for not posting sooner. Life has been happening. Secondly, I will try to write this without passing judgement on anyone. I have been trying to shake this feeling for a while now, but it is not going anywhere. Hopefully by expressing it, I can let it go.
Young ladies, please pay close attention. YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN A HAPPY MEAL AND A ROLL IN THE HAY!!! The gift you have been given is so precious and valuable. Why on earth would you allow any and everyone take your shine? I recently finished reading the Duggars book "A Love That Multiplies". There was an example of how Jim Bob explained the importance of purity and abstinence to his daughters. I won't share the illustrations, because you need to read the book.
Have you ever played a board game? When you first buy it, usually they have a plastic wrapping on the outside to conceal the pieces that are inside the box. Once you get home, you remove the plastic wrap and open the box. All the pieces, instructions, board, etc. are neatly placed in the box and in excellent condition. How would you feel if the box was dented and half of the pieces were missing? When you allow others to remove the plastic wrap and open your box, they take a piece of you with them. By the time you get married, 1/4 to 3/4 of you has either been taken or damaged.
The joy that comes with your wedding night, is no longer there. The box has been opened and it just becomes another game. I cannot tell you what to do. But I can urge you to reconsider keeping the plastic wrap on your box until your wedding night. Regardless of what others think, you are special and worth more than the purchase price of a date.
